👩‍🍳 Meet Cara

I’m Cara, the baker and creator behind Flour Lady.
My love for baking began when I was a young girl — fascinated by the simple joy of turning sugar, butter, and flour into something magical.

Flour Lady was founded in Belfast in 2020, born from a desire to combine my love of floral design and buttercream artistry. After moving to Kilkenny, I proudly relaunched the business when my youngest was just two weeks old, and it has flourished ever since.

From Christmas gingerbread houses and Mother’s Day “Mum & Me” sessions to Valentine’s and vintage buttercream classes, each event is a chance to create, connect, and celebrate through cake.
